One-on-one Czech lessons

The greatest benefit of one-on-one teaching is the possibility to adjust the material, so that it is targeted towards flaws and weaknesses of the particular student. And also towards his or her interests or likings.

The usual procedure is that at the introductory lesson (which is of course free) I determine the level and the needs of the student and then for each lesson I prepare materials that help the student to learn what he or she does not know and to get rid of any deep-rooted mistakes.

As you can tell by this website, my lessons are ‘grammar first’ lessons. I put grammar proficiency at the heart of my teaching, which is achieved through both gradually studying grammar rules and doing exercises designed to master speech patterns.

One-on-one lessons are available both online and offline in Prague, depending on the student’s needs.

As a result of the study you can expect:

• better and more confident pronunciation;
• better orientation in Czech cases;
• correct use of verbs in different tenses and persons;
• overcoming the fear of speaking Czech;
• your questions and doubts regarding the Czech language answered and cleared up;

The study costs CZK 500 per hour (60 minutes) if learning offline in Prague or CZK 400 per hour when learning online.
